SENATOR BALOGUN FELICITATES MUSLIMS AT MAULUD NABYYI

Senator Mohammed Kola Balogun has charged the Muslim Ummah on need to thank God for the gift of life, remain grateful and prayerful just as the holy book teaches.

According to the press release by his Special Adviser on Media, the Senator representing Oyo South in the 9th national Assembly wants the people to imbibe gratitude, godliness and love for one another at this crucial time, more than before.

"The Maulud Nabyyi is an opportunity to remind ourselves of the life and teaching of the holy Prophet Muhammed (SAW) who is our example in love and living in unity. In Nigeria and particularly in Oyo State, let us remember to pray for our leaders to do things that would encourage peace, unity and better life for all".

PROVIDENCE COALITION COMMENDS GOV MAKINDE ON POST- #ENDSARS AMELIORATION PACKAGES FOR YOUTHS:

A sociopolitical organization with its headquarters in Ibadan has again commended the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde for the post-#EndSars efforts at ameliorating the plights of the youths and people of the state.

According to the press release by the Director of Public affairs, the Chairman of the group, Prince Niran Adeyoju describes the Governor as a good listener, prompt in responses and pragmatic in his approach to people's welfare.

"We in Providence Coalition want to again draw the attention of the public to the N500m earmarked for compensation of #EndSars victims, N500m for youth empowerments and immediate employment of 5,00 youths in Oyo State. The meeting with the traditional rulers, Council bosses and other stakeholders in Oyo State on ways to achieve gainful engagements of Youths is also a good demonstration by leadership of this administration". The Chairman affirms.

Providence Coalition is committed to good governance and solution driven leadership in Nigeria and when we see such, we must point it out. However, we shall also avail the people and leaders constructive engagements where the good qualities are found wanting.

LEKKI KILLING WAS AN ACT OF TERRORISM & VERY REGRETTABLE -SEN BALOGUN

The Senator representing Oyo South district in the 9th national assembly, Dr. Mohammed Kola Balogun has described the killing of #EndSars protesters on Tuesday 20/10/20 at Lekki tollgate as an act of terrorism and regrettably compounding the main agitation against brutality from law enforcement agents.

According to the statement released by the Special Adviser on Media, Senator Kola Balogun reteirates the motion by the Senate to avoid violent engagements and that the President should address the nation on this issue. It's so sad that the peaceful protesters are demonstrating against unlawful killings and they are still being killed for daring to speak up (Soro soke).

"I want to express my deep condolences to the families of the youngsters, the future leaders whose destinies have been cut short due to the struggle for a New Nigeria. I can feel the agony and we pray that God grants these families the fortitude to bear this painful losses. Indeed, it was a black Tuesday in Nigeria"

SENATOR UCHE EKWUNIFE; THE LIGHT HAS COME

The Senator representing Anambra central district in the 9th national Assembly, IYOM Uche Lilian Ekwunife is a phenomenon, quintessential legislator and good service personified. Indeed, the light is risen for the District and the glory shines for the whole Anambra state. 

With the "not too young to run" campaign and the fact that this young Angel has about a decade legislative experience; two term federal Rep and serving Senator, one would realize it's a great experience for someone who has had many years in the banking sector too but just 50yrs. Enough experience to have PhD in grassroots politicking, you would say?

Though many would want to build the narrative around her gender but with her records, gender is only an addendum; she would beat any prospective opponent with her résumé, great compassion for her people, immeasurable passion for quality service and her philanthropy. 

Anambra has a bright light shining from Ugbo-Ukwu to brighten the whole of Anambra State. Senator Uche, as you're fondly called, blessed is the womb that conceived you and great is the State that has you as governorship hopeful. 

I would be doing analyses about the chances, the leadership qualities and strides of this woman of virtue and compassion exemplified. It is pleasurable and natural for me to gravitate towards this bright shining light too. 

IYOM, I am persuaded you're created for this purpose, you're sent to our generation to shine and deliver your people from darkness of leadership and purposeful service; you're created for such a time as this. 

Senator Uche, please keep the fire burning and let's join you to place your light in a very vantage position, so that it can shine for the world to see.
